• Hours/week: Guaranteed 8 hours, OT applies after 12 hours (pre-approved)

• License/Certs: Active CA license, BC or BE within 5 years, ABEM/ABEOM certified
• Experience: 2+ years of hospital emergency medicine experience, current hospital activity, case logs (if surgical)

What You ll Do

• Provide emergency medical care to an average of 110 patients in a 24-hour period
• Manage a variety of acute cases across a busy emergency department
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Follow hospital protocols and adhere to safety standards
• Support hospital process improvements and patient flow management

What You Need
Required:

• Valid California medical license
• BC or BE in Emergency Medicine within the last 5 years
• ABEM or ABEOM certification (no ABIM or ABFM)
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital emergency medicine experience
• Current hospital activity and case logs (if applicable)

Preferred:

• Experience working night shifts in a hospital setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
