Licensed Practical Nurse, Pre-Surgery Screening – Olympia Orthopaedic Associates

Location: Remote after training. Training will take place in-person at either our Centralia or Olympia, WA surgery centers. MUST STILL BE A RESIDENT OF WA STATE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.92 - $42.96 (Pay is determined based on years of experience)

Licensed Practical Nurse Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Pre-Surgical Screening department, you will be responsible for triaging patients to ensure prompt identification of those with high-risk conditions. You will also play a vital role in clearing patients for surgery by ensuring they meet the requirements established by anesthesia. This will involve performing phone evaluations, conferring with physicians, and scheduling in-person anesthesia evaluations when needed.

This is a work from home role; however, employees are required to be a resident of Washington State and must complete a 4–6-week training period in Olympia, WA.

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited state Board of Nursing program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Washington.
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
