SNI Companies has partnered with an HR Services company in Middlesex County, NJ who is seeking a detail-oriented 401(k) Administrator to support the day-to-day administration and compliance of retirement plans, including 401(k), Roth 401(k), SIMPLE IRA, and 403(b) plans. In this role, you'll partner with clients, plan participants, vendors, and third-party administrators to ensure plans are managed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations. Reporting to the Benefits Manager, you'll be a key contributor on a collaborative team dedicated to delivering outstanding retirement plan services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage retirement plan administration, including contributions, distributions, loans, enrollments, and account maintenance.
- Serve as primary contact for participants, clients, trustees, vendors, and TPAs.
- Research and resolve participant and plan-related issues.
- Complete reconciliations and calculate employer matching contributions.
- Prepare compliance-related reports, notices, audits, Form 5500 filings, and other plan documentation.
- Maintain accurate plan records and databases.
- Support participant education, enrollment activities, and retirement plan communications.
- Assist with client management, special projects, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- 2+ years of experience with 401(k) or qualified retirement plan administration.
- Knowledge of ERISA and retirement plan compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with retirement plan administration platforms preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with self-directed retirement plans is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 100% onsite, No Hybrid or Remote
- Pay Rate: $30.00 – $32.00 / hour
