What You’ll Do

• Provide hospital-based call coverage for adult patients
• Perform upper and lower endoscopies, colonoscopies, and routine GI procedures
• Conduct advanced procedures such as EUS and ERCP (preferred but not required)
• Round on patients and support hospital staff during assigned shifts
• Collaborate with hospital team to ensure top patient care and smooth workflow

What You Need

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• MA State Medical License
• DEA certification
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to support weeknight/weekend rotations and emergent procedures

About the Assignment
This role involves providing essential GI call coverage at a hospital setting via EPIC electronic health records. The locum will support the hospital's adult patient population with necessary procedures and rounding, working independently during scheduled shifts. The hospital is seeking a dedicated GI physician to join their team for a short-term assignment with quick credentialing, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
