Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Labor, delivery, recovery, and antepartum care
• Triage and circulate for C-sections
• 1st hour baby care (excluding admission assessment, eyes, and thighs)
• Provide breastfeeding assistance

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (within the previous 2 years)
• L&D experience
• Current NRP and BLS certification
