Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Description: This position is open to first-time travelers. The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care and support to patients in a rehabilitation setting. The role involves floating between units as needed. Weekend assignments may be required, with a minimum expectation of every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Patient Ratios: Expected ratios are 1:6-8.
• Charting System: Experience with any charting system, preferably Epic.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Skills: Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing, including the use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions/PPE.

Position Overview:

The role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Candidates must possess a valid compact nursing license and demonstrate strong clinical skills and communication abilities.

Additional Information:

• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as required.
• Once assigned, unwillingness to float may result in reassignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• Communication devices such as cell phones or pagers will be provided at no cost if needed for performing duties.
• All modules required for orientation are non-billable and will be factored into the onboarding hours.
