About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience required License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certified required Must-Have: Experience with robotic instrumentation required Description: First-time travelers are welcome. The position will not float between units. On-call duty is not required. Weekends are required, with a Wednesday to Saturday shift schedule. Block scheduling is not required. Expected patient ratios are not applicable. Special requirements include sterile processing experience and certification. Experience with robotic instrumentation is significantly preferred. The facility is a short-term acute care facility. Scrub colors are flexible, with specific colors provided for certain departments. Charting is done through Epic. The facility requires candidates to commit to working three of the five holidays during the contract period. Candidates should not reach out directly for inquiries unless it is for an agreed-upon interview. Refusal to float to nearby facilities may affect guaranteed hours. Communication devices needed for the assignment will be supplied by the client at no cost. Time spent on modules is considered part of non-billable hours and will be recorded during the compliance process. References covering one year of experience within the last three years are required.
