*Applicants must be US Citizens or permanent residents*Hybrid Position in Washington DC*Position is subject to contract award*3 professional references requiredPosition DescriptionThe Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure supporting FMS-NG. This role ensures system availability, scalability, and security while supporting operational continuity and performance optimization. RequirementsBachelor 's degree in IT or related field10+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineeringHands-on AWS experience requiredStrong knowledge of networking, Linux (RedHat), and securityAWS Solutions Architect certification preferredResponsibilitiesManage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, and CloudWatchPerform infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance tuningCoordinate OS patching and maintenance activitiesSupport disaster recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP)Plan capacity and ensure high availability of systemsImplement security controls and infrastructure hardeningCoordinate downtime, upgrades, and environment management
