- Align and set priorities for resources and shared resources across the factory to maximize efficiency and material flow and ensure customer on-time delivery.
- Expedite customer orders where possible, expedite material shortages with buyers, and communicate updates to customer service.
- Ensure work orders within assigned areas are current, not past due, and not held in pick status for extended periods.
- Support efforts to minimize past-due sales dollars, monitor and help resolve quality issues, and drive customer on-time delivery.
- Support high-performance work teams and remain flexible and capable of working in different environments as needed.
- Support plant continuous improvement initiatives related to production scheduling and materials management.
- Prepare reports and other correspondence for use by supply chain management professionals.
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, including customers, marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
- Ability to quickly analyze information, identify opportunities, and implement improvements that have a measurable impact.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and take action to achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills for schedule planning, logistics coordination, and inventory management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
- Change management skills and the ability to support and adapt to evolving processes.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment or supply chain is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices related to complex machined materials management.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, with experience in MFG Pro considered a plus.
- Experience with production scheduling, production planning, and materials management in aerospace or similarly complex industries.
- Familiarity with contract flow-down requirements such as FAR, DFAR, and ITAR.
- Experience with cycle counts and other inventory control techniques.
- Strong skills in planning and scheduling, including capacity planning and level loading of work orders.
- Ability to prepare clear reports and correspondence for supply chain and operations leadership.
This role is based in a manufacturing facility that produces pressure sensors for commercial, military, and space applications. The Production Scheduler works closely with shop floor operations, quality, engineering, customer service, and purchasing, spending time both in office settings and in production areas.
