Process Technician

Process Technician Location: Houston, TX 77054 - 100% onsite Duration: 06 months contract Shift: 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM (Mon‑Fri) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and/or 2+ years of experience. Forklift experience minimum 6 months (certification not required). Basic computer skills – knowledge of Windows‑based programs, comfortable with e‑mail. Ability to read simple instructions and write simple correspondence. Good mathematical and reasoning skills. Ability to complete computer‑based training. Batch Processing Prepare batches in accordance with blend sheet. Familiar and identify with raw materials. Perform quality control checks on materials prior to shipping. Work with equipment used in processing. Package in proper container and label container per batch sheet. Inventory Control Assist to ensure chemicals are stored and handled per supplier specifications. Assist in weekly counts of finished product and measurement of bulk raw material for inventory control and correct any discrepancies when applicable. Shipping and Receiving Coordinate with Traffic Control and set up loading and unloading schedules. Ensure proper loading per axle and size in accordance with trailer size. Receive packaged raw materials ensuring required specifications are met. Apply all required identification required by company procedures. Receive non‑inventory packages and products for the Houston facility and distribute to correct personnel. Palletize according to customer work orders and secure freight for product protection and DOT requirements. Daily forklift operation, inspections and schedule repairs. Comply with company procedure by wearing the proper personal protective equipment required for the various tasks (PPE provided). Maintain housekeeping in all areas of the plant. Identify hazards and participate in EHS programs such as SOAR cards, reporting incidents and near misses. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr eTeam
