As we continue to grow, we are seeking project managers who take ownership of their work, communicate effectively with clients, and contribute to successful project delivery.Position OverviewYou are responsible for managing the design and execution of residential and commercial development projects, overseeing project performance, coordinating technical staff, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead project teams effectively.Reports to: President or Senior Vice President, with day-to-day oversight from Principal EngineersKey ResponsibilitiesManage multiple civil engineering projects from design through constructionCoordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project deliveryDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverablesReview and approve monthly invoices and support financial trackingIdentify and manage project risks, scope changes, and change ordersSupport accounts receivable review and collectionsClient and Business DevelopmentServe as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationshipsSupport business development efforts and identify opportunities for new workAssist with preparation of proposals, SOQs, and contract reviewParticipate in client meetings, presentations, and project discussionsTechnical OversightOversee civil design efforts, including:Site grading and roadway designStormwater conveyance and modelingWater and sewer system designTESC system designSupport land entitlement and site layout planningReview plans, specifications, and engineer estimates for accuracy and qualitySkills and SpecificationsStrong ability to manage projects, priorities, and deadlinesEffective leadership and team coordination skillsStrong client communication and relationship management abilitiesSolution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skillsProficiency in Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skillsEducation, Experience, QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)8+ years of civil engineering experienceWashington State Professional Engineer (PE) license requiredPrivate development experience required; public project experience preferredConstruction field experience preferredValid Washington State driver's licenseCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary + performance-based bonus opportunities401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your familyGenerous paid time off + paid holidaysProfessional development and career advancement supportWhy LDCYou are trusted to manage your own projects and client relationshipsYou play a key role in project success, delivery, and client satisfactionYou work directly with senior leadership and experienced engineersYou gain exposure to business development and project financialsYou are part of a team that values quality, accountability, and collaboration
