Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting PreK through 5th grade students near Hurlock, MD. Provide speech-language therapy services in a dynamic environment that values your expertise—onsite is preferred, but teletherapy (VOCO) may be considered for the right candidate. Your primary focus will be elementary-aged children, ensuring they receive 60 service hours per month and helping them achieve their communication goals throughout the academic year.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license required
• Previous experience in Maryland school settings highly preferred
• Familiarity with providing speech and language services to PreK-5th grade students
• Ability to manage and deliver high-quality support for a diverse elementary caseload
• Comfortable with both onsite and virtual (VOCO) therapy delivery
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable for contract-based school assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Complete 60 service hours per month for elementary students
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Utilize technology for recordkeeping and possible teletherapy delivery, if applicable

This is a full-time, contract position for 35 hours per week during the school year, from August 2026 to June 2027. You’ll make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners while working in a supportive, student-focused environment.
