Temp-Hire M–F, 8–5; Hybrid: remote but in the office as needed About the Job Support AZASRS Financial & Employer Services by calculating pension and related benefits. This role processes complex retirement, survivor, and account adjustments while ensuring data integrity and compliance with IRS regulations. Duties/Responsibilities Accurately process retirement, survivor, and account-adjustment benefit calculations. Maintain data integrity and apply IRS regulations to payouts and reporting. Research and verify financial transactions, reporting systems, and member information. Communicate with employers to verify documents and resolve inquiries. Use computer systems to retrieve data and process payments outside standard systems. Required Qualifications Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills for high‑volume, deadline‑driven work. Proficiency in Excel; advanced Excel skills are needed for the role. Ability to work within strict guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence. Knowledge of financial processes, automated disbursement systems, and relational databases. Preferred Experience Experience with a financial institution or bank. Accounts receivable or processing experience. Some college education. Additional Information An intensive internal background check is required and may take up to one month.
