Automotive Service Advisor

Service AdvisorVolkswagen of Corpus Christi is a family-owned and operated dealership that has served the Coastal Bend for more than 16 years. We are hiring a Service Advisor who is organized, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and able to manage a busy workload. Automotive experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right person. Candidates must have prior sales, retail, and/or customer service experience and be comfortable explaining service recommendations to customers.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and discuss their vehicle concernsAccurately document customer concerns and prepare repair ordersReview technician inspections, estimates, and repair timelinesExplain recommended maintenance and repairs clearlyHelp customers understand their options and make informed decisionsObtain authorization before additional work is performedKeep customers updated throughout the repair processCoordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and service managementFollow up with customers and help resolve concernsMaintain accurate records and close repair orders promptlyManage multiple customers, repair orders, calls, texts, and deadlines throughout the dayWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious sales, retail, and/or customer service experienceHighly organized and able to prioritize without constant supervisionSelf-disciplined, self-motivated, and accountableAble to work in a fast-paced environment while being pulled in multiple directionsStrong follow-through and attention to detailClear, professional communication skillsComfortable explaining options and making service recommendationsAble to remain calm and professional under pressureComfortable using computers, texting, and emailWilling to learn automotive maintenance, repairs, and Volkswagen processesValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordAvailable to work Saturdays as scheduledExperience in automotive service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, insurance, wireless sales, or another fast-paced customer-facing position can be a good fit for this role.We offer hands-on training, competitive performance-based pay, benefits for eligible employees, and an opportunity to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
