QA Technician

QA TechnicianBridor USA is seeking a QA Technician to support food safety and quality at our new Salt Lake City manufacturing facility.The QA Technician works directly on the production floor to verify that products, processes, documentation, and employees are meeting Bridor's quality and food safety standards. This position will conduct inspections, complete quality checks, review records, identify issues, and work closely with Production, Sanitation, and Quality leadership to address concerns.This is a hands-on Quality Assurance position in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.What You Will DoPerform routine quality and food safety inspections on the production floorReview production and quality records for accuracy, completeness, and compliancePerform and document metal detector checks and other required food safety verificationsMonitor employee compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Verify sanitation and food safety requirements are being followedSupport pest-control monitoring and verification activitiesIdentify, document, and communicate quality or food safety non-conformitiesAssist with corrective and preventive actions when issues are identifiedTrain and reinforce GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements with employeesSupport continuous improvement activities related to product quality and food safetyWork with the Quality Manager to maintain and update procedures, records, and quality programsEscalate food safety or quality concerns to the appropriate leadership team when necessaryWhat We Are Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED required2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferredFood manufacturing or other process-manufacturing experience strongly preferredPrevious Quality Assurance, quality control, food safety, or GMP experience preferredPCQI certification preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsAbility to recognize quality or food safety concerns and communicate them clearlyStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a manufacturing teamComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentBilingual English/Spanish is a plusSchedule RequirementsCandidates must be able to work the regular overnight schedule:Monday–Wednesday | 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.This role also requires flexibility to work other shifts when business needs require, including for training, production coverage, staffing needs, or other operational requirements.Why Join Bridor?Bridor is growing its U.S. manufacturing operations with a new facility in Salt Lake City.
