Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager / Project Lead will oversee multiple technology projects across the agency, managing all phases from planning through implementation and legacy system retirement. This role requires strong leadership to drive project execution, coordinate stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within a fully onsite environment. Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple agency-wide technology initiatives including planning, procurement, implementation, migration, and legacy application sunset activities.
• Drive project execution and coordinate with diverse stakeholders to align scope, schedule, and business goals.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and manage risks effectively.
• Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage projects in parallel.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects within a fully onsite work environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
• 3+ years of experience in Hybrid Project Management (Agile and Waterfall).
• 3+ years of experience in Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development.
• 3+ years of experience in Risk Management, Resource Management, Change Management, and Budget Planning.
• Strong collaboration, presentation, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification required, or currently in progress.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in Process Improvement.
• Knowledge of Financial, Accounting, and Mortgage Principles.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups.

Special Considerations:

• Fully onsite work environment in Columbia, South Carolina.
• One round of onsite interview required.

Scheduling:

• Full-time, fully onsite role with standard business hours.
