Regional Sales Manager

Sales RepresentativePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESBuilds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.Performs other duties as assigned.Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.Follow-up for collection of payment.Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.REQUIREMENTSHighschool Diploma or EquivalentBachelor's degree in Business Admin or Marketing5-10 Years of Sales Experience3-5 years of Management experienceCustomer Service - Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.Interpersonal Skills - Maintains confidentiality.Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar.Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.DISCLAIMERThis job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
