Scrum Master - FA Contract

The ideal candidate is comfortable toggling between strategy and execution - building decks, standing up dashboards, and pushing the organization forward.


This position is local to Houston, TX and candidates will be required to come onsite 2-3 times a week.

The hourly rate for this role is between 65-70/hr on a W2 basis.

This is a long term, 3 year transformation program.


Key Responsibilities

• Support Crew Records modernization by articulating business value, risks of inaction, and phased modernization options.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to drive decisions on modernization direction and next steps.
• Develop executiveready materials (PowerPoint) for governance forums, leadership reviews, and decision points.
• Help establish and maintain Jira dashboards, roadmaps, and lightweight delivery tracking.
• Assist with governance processes, intake, prioritization, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with procurement to evaluate vendors, platforms, and "puzzle pieces" that could form the foundation of the future Crew Records ecosystem.
• Act as a connector across teams - translating between business needs, technical constraints, and delivery realities.

Profile We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience supporting modernization initiatives, platform evolution, or regulated/operational systems.
• Comfortable in ambiguity; able to push conversations forward without full clarity or authority.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence through data, structure, and storytelling.
• Handson, pragmatic, and executionoriented - not a "slideonly" role, but not headsdown delivery either.
