Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Remote position based in the US Central Region Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% We’re seeking a driven and knowledgeable Area Sales Manager with deep expertise in the Power Utility sector. This remote role is ideal for a strategic leader who can coach, advise, and inspire our sales team while developing strong relationships with utility clients across the Central US. Why should you apply? Great Pay Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities. Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement. Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting. Build and form new partnerships with potential clients. Conduct frontline assessments of market conditions and communicate insights to the team. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and competitor activities; perform sales and marketing research and benchmarking as needed. Address and resolve customer and buyer concerns and objections throughout the procurement process. Highlight key features and benefits of products/services, provide price quotes, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and reports. Lead and mentor sales teams targeting Power Utility clients. Drive business growth through strategic client engagement. Deliver training sessions on sales strategies and product offerings. Qualifications: BS degree in business administration or a related field. Minimum 2 years in the Power Utility industry. Proven success in Inside/Outside sales . Outside plant construction. HDPE and fiber optics. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Salesforce experience is a plus.
