- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or ongoing health issues collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
- Providing valuable education to patients and families regarding prevention, health maintenance, and chronic illness management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and the management of chronic health conditions
- Collaborating seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- Accurately documenting all patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or directly comparable credentials
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Outstanding clinical skills combined with a caring and approachable manner
- Effective communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
- Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced and patient-focused environments
- Proficiency in EMR systems as well as familiarity with telehealth tools
