To be qualified for this position, we require:A high school diploma or GED3+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or residential settingA valid driver's licenseThe ability to pass all background checksCandidates must have their own set of tools, including but not limited to: drill, impact driver, various sizes of screwdrivers, hammer, electric meter, voltage detector, and wrenchesCompensation: $60,000 annually We are a family-oriented, close-knit organization and we have a lot to offer our next team member including:Competitive PayGenerous Benefits Package, including Dental, Medical, and Vision Insurance401k with MatchFun and Positive Place to WorkOpen Door PolicyOur Hiring Process:Resume screenPhone screen with Recruiter (30 minutes)Virtual interview with Facilities Manager and Vice President of Real Estate (45 minutes)Onsite with Regional Director (45 minutes)OfferMain Job Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, general repairs, and facility improvements to interior and exterior spacesDiagnose and troubleshoot facility issues, completing repairs or coordinating with vendors as neededEnsure all work areas are safe, clean, and secure, especially in child-accessible spacesUtilize Service Channel to receive, track, and complete work ordersMaintain a positive and professional relationship with center staff, landlord, and vendorsTravel between sites to perform repairs, including minor plumbing, HVAC filter changes, painting, irrigation work, carpentry, electrical work, and moreSupport the cleaning, prepping, and closing of swimming pools (if applicable)Responsibly handle chemicals and follow safety protocolsProvide suggestions for improvements in operational or energy efficiencyPhysical Requirements:The role involves a range of physical activities necessary for performing maintenance work effectively and safely:Standing: Remaining in a stationary position for extended periodsWalking/Moving: Frequently moving throughout the facility to access various work areas and equipment, sometimes over uneven terrain or in confined spacesBending, Kneeling, Crouching, and Stooping: Positioning oneself to access equipment and perform tasks, including under desks and within confined areasLifting and Carrying: Regularly lifting and moving equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently; heavier items (75–100 lbs) lifted with team assistancePushing and Pulling: Exerting force to move equipment, tools, and other objectsClimbing: Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and working from elevated positions or on scaffoldingIf you're a dependable problem-solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and safely, we encourage you to apply today!
