Budget Management Analyst

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship, due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Twenty-four credit hours in mathematics or business-related courses from an accredited college, or Level III Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Budget Management
• At least 10 years of managerial accounting experience in a Program Management Office dealing with government funding restrictions
• Former military experience
• Experience with the Standard Operation and Maintenance, Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) is highly preferred

• Provide budget management support by collecting, developing, and analyzing data for monthly and quarterly Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) reviews
• Review funding request documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with specific funding guidelines within two business days of receipt
• Monitor and track funds in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and update the organizations tracking tool daily
• Track commitments in GFEBS, identify inconsistencies with the spend plan, and report them to the Government Resource Manager weekly
• Track disbursements and provide the Government Resource Manager with a monthly status update using GFEBS Business Intelligence (BI) reports, within three business days after the preceding month ends
