This position will work closely with operations and engineering and be responsible for planning, developing, administering, and maintaining various components of the Environmental, Health, and Safety management system. They will aid in developing and implementing safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations in our manufacturing environment.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Facilitate Safety Committee meetingsReview, update, audit Lockout/Tagout proceduresEstablish training schedule and Provide training to ensure OSHA compliance.Perform audits to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, etc. standards.Provide assistance on incident investigations completion, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation and trackingHelp in establishing systems to identify, evaluate and control occupational safety and health hazardsDeveloping policies, programs and projects to abate hazardsAbility to effectively initiate change management to drive invested safety cultureAssist with company's safety programs, standards, and procedures to help protect employees against injury and maintain safe working environment.Assist with training activitiesPerform audits, risk assessments, & Job hazard analysis to identify and mitigate risk to employeesWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Bachelor's degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health preferredStrong verbal and written communication, analytical, and persuasive skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and managementAbility to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesDetail oriented, with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skillsMust be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment to include Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and WordMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assistExpected Behaviors of Actively Engaged Person – 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and AgileBENEFITS In addition to excellent starting wages, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as numerous perks.
