QA Specialist

A growing technology company is seeking a full time QA Specialist to join its Williamsburg office. This role is responsible for testing software, reviewing new features and updates, identifying errors, and making sure everything works properly before it goes live.

Prior QA or SQL experience is not required. The company will provide training, including an SQL course, and teach the right candidate the skills needed for the position.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally detail oriented, enjoys finding issues others may miss, and is interested in learning more about software and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test new software features and updates before release
• Identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies within the software
• Clearly document issues and follow up until they are resolved
• Perform detailed testing across different workflows and scenarios
• Verify that new updates and fixes are working correctly
• Work closely with developers to communicate and resolve issues
• Test software from a user perspective to identify potential problems
• Help maintain a high standard of software quality and reliability

Qualifications:

• No prior QA experience required
• No prior SQL experience required
• Extremely detail oriented and thorough
• Technically minded and comfortable working with computers
• Strong problem solving skills
• Organized and able to follow issues through to resolution
• Comfortable learning new software and technology
• Patient and persistent when testing different scenarios
• Must be comfortable working full time in office

Salary: $50,000 to $65,000/year
