WOODLAND PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-2 Date completed: July 6, 2026 Work Location: District Office Title: Courier Department: Business/Finance Exempt Status: Non-Exempt Position Status: Part Time (.47 FTE) Salary Range: $15.89 /hour Days: 206 Hours: 3.5 In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other employees, community members, and vendors/suppliers. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Summary/Objective To contribute to the smooth flow of information and communication, and to assist in the operation that ensures full efficiency in the acquisition of educational supplies and equipment. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Colorado Driver's License and clean motor vehicle record. Satisfactory passage of Medical Evaluation. Essential Functions Ability to work well with pupils and adults in a school setting and demonstrate ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. Respond to requests by District and Building Administration for courier services. Participate in inservice training programs as appropriate. Ability to perform simple clerical tasks with reasonable speed and accuracy. Assist in maintaining and safeguarding District Administration Office postage meter. Receive and deliver interoffice written communications. Assist with various clerical assignments and projects (sorting, filing, etc.). Ability to operate school/office equipment to include District vehicles, postage meter, and communication systems. Operate various equipment to include District vehicles, postage meter, and communication systems. Daily driving route includes trips to and from multiple locations in Woodland Park and Divide. Ability to perform physical labor as required. Receive, sort, and deliver all District incoming mail and parcels from U.S. Post Office. Receive all outgoing District mail & parcels daily; meter postage on authorized matter, and deliver outgoing mail to U.S. Post Office. Receive, sort, and deliver all inter-District bulk items to include testing materials, science kits, registration information, shredding from schools, curiculum, etc. Prepare parcels for mailing or shipping via USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc., and receive and distribute shipments from truckers and delivery services. Verify accuracy of shipment by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and code numbers with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase order; record any discrepancies or damage. Any other tasks as assigned by Administrator(s) and/or designee.
