TS/SCI CIP Cleared Elastic SIEM Analyst

Our client, a leading software development company, is looking for a Secret Cleared Elastic Engineer for an initial 5 month contract position, with the possibility it could go another month. This project is based out of Reston, VA. The consultant will be working onsite, 5 days a week, at a cadence of about 32-40 hours each week. They will be supporting a recovery, optimization, and expansion engagement, with the goal being to stabilize and clean up a struggling platform, transition it into a strong security posture, and lay the groundwork for a future SIEM Center of Excellence (COE). Our client is looking for someone with a SIEM/SOC/Analyst/Security background to support the team in implementation, ingesting data sources, configuring rules and alerts, leveraging AI, etc.

Required Skills:

• Active DoD TS/SCI w/ CIP level Clearance

• Experience with n ormalizing data feeds to Elastic Common Schema (ECS) standards

• Experience with c onducting ongoing Risk Assessments across participating agencies

• Experience with e stablishing automated ingest pipelines

• Must be able to be onsite in Reston or Chantilly, VA.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $103.50 - $149.50 per hour.
