Respiratory Therapist PRN Nights

Overview We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for PRN/Per Diem shifts at Vibra Hospital of Boise, a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital located in Boise, ID. Responsibilities Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of department policies and procedures. Maintain, set up, and operate various respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, and equipment setup. Required Skills Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program. Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor. ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six (6) months of hire. Additional Qualifications One (1) year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use and adverse effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
