Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience. While this is primarily a front desk position, our office environment requires someone who is flexible and willing to assist with additional administrative tasks during slower periods.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable multitasking, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

• Check patients in and out for appointments.

• Build referrals and enter patient information into our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Schedule patient appointments.

• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

• Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation.

• Assist with filing and general administrative duties.

• During slower periods, assist with Work-in-Progress (WIP) activities for orthotic devices, including preparing paperwork, organizing devices, labeling items, and supporting clinical staff with non-clinical administrative tasks.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Dependable, punctual, and a team player.

• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as business needs require.
