Technical Business Analyst - Data & Analytics

Responsibilities Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements across Finance, Accounting, and Trade Processing teams. Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for data, reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions. Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to clarify workflows, data sources, reporting needs, and process improvement opportunities. Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel, and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, gaps, exceptions, and business insights. Design, build, and support dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive, operational, and cross-functional stakeholders. Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and reporting definitions. Use JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements, track delivery progress, and support project transparency. Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve data quality, and enhance business decision-making. Requirements 5–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. Experience working in financial services, investment operations, banking, capital markets, asset management, insurance, or related environments preferred. Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, and/or Trade Processing workflows, systems, and data. Hands‑on experience with data analysis using SQL, Excel, and AI‑enabled productivity or analytics tools. Experience building dashboards, reports, or visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI. Strong documentation skills, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria. Experience using JIRA and Confluence in Agile or technology delivery environments. Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
