AI Solutions Architect

Salary: $60,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• Were looking for experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Claude Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Cowork, Azure AI, or similar tools.
• You should have hands-on knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and/or API integrations.
• Strong prompt engineering skills are important, including system prompt design, knowledge files, and instruction structuring.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments is required.
• You must be able to explain complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Strong project management and intake triage abilities are needed; you will own the request queue.
• Experience working with IT governance or enterprise architecture teams is preferred.
• Citizen development or vibe coding experience, including GitHub Copilot or other low-code tools, is a plus.
• A background in technology, SaaS, or multi-business-unit enterprise settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and data classification standards is desirable.

• We review and triage incoming AI workflow and tooling requests from our business units.
• We evaluate feasibility, complexity, and risk, then recommend the technical approach, tooling, and delivery timeline.
• We advise stakeholders on scope, dependencies, and IT requirements before development begins.
• We maintain an intake tracker and keep the VP and stakeholder teams informed of status.
• We act as the main technical liaison between AI Enablement and our IT and Enterprise Systems teams.
• We align on production-readiness standards, security review expectations, and infrastructure paths for AI deployments.
• We translate business use cases into technical specifications that IT can assess and support.
• We escalate blockers and coordinate resolution timing to keep delivery moving.
• We design and build governed AI workflows using approved tools such as Claude Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI.
• We develop and maintain system prompts, Skills, and Knowledge file structures for Claude Enterprise deployments.
• We build and manage MCP server integrations and API-layer tooling.
• We maintain our SharePoint Skills and Prompts Library so it stays current, documented, and reusable.
• We test new AI models and feature releases against our use cases before recommending them to business teams.
• We create lightweight internal AI applications and citizen-coded tools when there is a clear business need.
• We improve existing internal tooling, including our Product Guide, AI-assisted workflow tools, and custom agents.
• We document tools, integrations, and configurations in a format that works for both IT and business teams.
• We ensure all AI solutions meet our governance standards for data handling, access control, and auditability.
• We support AI policy development with IT, Legal, Security, Internal Audit, and the VP of AI Enablement.
• We provide technical status updates for leadership on active builds and release timelines.
