About the Position

Seeking a Locum Family Medicine Physician for a full time, long term assignment in Florence, OR. The provider will deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, with additional pediatric and newborn support when covering hospital call.

• • • Full time, 1.0 FTE
• • • Clinic & hospital privileges
• • • Approximately 20 patients per day
• • • Patient population from newborns through geriatrics
• • • 21 bed inpatient setting
• • • Pediatric support required
• • • Newborn assessments following delivery when on call
• • • Provider may work independently

• • • Provide comprehensive family medicine & primary care
• • • Evaluate & treat patients across all age groups
• • • Provide inpatient & outpatient care
• • • Perform hospital rounding & admissions
• • • Conduct newborn assessments immediately after delivery when on call
• • • Provide pediatric support as needed
• • • Manage approximately 20 clinic patients per day
• • • Perform circumcisions
• • • Participate in weeknight & weekend call coverage
• • • Share pediatrics & post delivery call responsibilities
• • • Coordinate care with the broader medical team
• • • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC

Requirements

• • • Board Certified in Primary Care / Family Medicine
• • • Active Oregon medical license required at presentation
• • • Minimum 2 years of experience required
• • • BLS certification required
• • • NRP certification required
• • • Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
• • • Recent family medicine clinical activity representative of requested privileges
• • • Pediatric & newborn care experience preferred
• • • Must be comfortable with newborn assessments
• • • Must be able to perform circumcision
• • • Oregon license pending candidates may be considered based on expected issuance date

• • • 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• • • 8 hour shifts
• • • Full time, 1.0 FTE
• • • Weeknight call may be required
• • • Weekend call may be required
• • • Expected call coverage approximately 1 week per month
• • • Call shifts include pediatrics & post delivery coverage
• • • 24 hour call coverage may be required
