# Job Opportunity – House Supervisor / Nursing Supervisor – New York Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts covering 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM Monday through Friday, plus 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays; every other weekend rotation required Highlights: - 8-week assignment at a 528-bed acute care facility with an average daily census of 550 patients- Comprehensive house-wide supervisory role managing staffing, patient flow, bed placement, and throughput across all units- Hands-on leadership supporting staff, patients, and visitors in real-time while mitigating risk and driving key clinical initiatives- Epic charting system in use facility-wide- Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and more- 24 hours of paid orientation provided Requirements: - Active New York RN license required prior to submission- Minimum 1 year of previous charge nurse or supervisory experience required- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered- Epic charting experience is mandatory- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility- Experience with centralized staffing, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, code management, and supervising nursing care across multiple units- Experience with all patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Why It's a Great Opportunity: This leadership role offers experienced nursing supervisors the chance to make a meaningful impact across an entire hospital system.
