Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience required Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required Must-Have: Experience with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psychiatric holds, and pediatric emergency care Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The shift for this position is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI is required for this role. Applicants must be comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, and managing various emergency situations. Experience with procedural sedation and care for ventilated patients is necessary. Candidates will be required to provide care for trauma cases and perform psychiatric holds. Pediatric emergency care experience is strongly preferred. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3.5. Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is required. Float assignments may be necessary. Weekend and holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis. All applicants must be aware of the urgency of the credentialing process. Two professional references are required; one must be from a leadership position. Travelers must have a valid state RN license at the time of submission.
