CNC Operator

We are seeking an entry-level/some experience (6 months to 1 year) CNC Machine Operator to assist in running and inspecting precision components. This is a contract-to-hire position with a direct-hire transition after completing 480 hours. It offers a great opportunity to expand your machining skills operating modern Haas vertical machining centers (VF-4 mills) in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment. salary: $21 - $22 per hour shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Operate Haas VF-4 vertical milling centers according to production plans. Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T to understand machining steps and tolerances. Load raw materials, secure workpieces, and verify basic fixture setups and offsets. Monitor milling cycles, check part finishes, and perform basic tool wear adjustments. Conduct quality checks on finished parts using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges. Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning machines, checking coolant/lubrication levels, and chip removal). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S standards.
