CNC Machinist

Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing client, is looking for a CNC Machinist in Solon, OH. This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit, vacation, and compensation package upon hire. Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k employer match 120 hours of vacation/PTO Tuition assistance Details: Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday Pay: $30 (potentially higher based on candidate requirements and experience) Location: Solon, OH Job Description: Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T callouts, and process sheets Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work offsets Edit CNC programs at the machine as needed Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements Maintain production efficiency while ensuring part quality Train and mentor entry-level machinists and operators Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues Perform preventive maintenance and maintain clean work areas REQUIRED SKILLS (Applicant must meet all to be considered): High school diploma or GED required Technical degree or apprenticeship preferred 3 or more years of CNC machining experience Proficiency with precision measuring equipment Ability to independently perform machine setups and adjustments Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes Experience editing G-code and M-code programs As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
