Multiple full-time paraprofessional roles are available for individuals who thrive on helping others and work well in dynamic settings. With opportunities in high school, middle school, and elementary school classrooms, you’ll have a chance to focus your passion in an area that best fits your expertise—preferences will be discussed during the interview process.
Positions are contract-based, and interviews are scheduled for July 2nd. Prior experience in behavioral support or educational settings is essential for success in these roles.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proven background working in behavioral support, special education, or as a school paraprofessional
- Experience supporting students in educational settings (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
- Ability to follow teacher or therapist guidance and implement individualized student plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support under the guidance of teachers and specialists
- Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social needs throughout the school day
- Implement positive reinforcement techniques and support behavioral interventions
- Document student progress and actively participate in team meetings
- Encourage student independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment
