The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, inspire a culture of excellence, and play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

What You'll Do

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Nursing Department.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.

• Lead, coach, and develop nursing managers and staff.

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Monitor clinical programs, quality measures, and infection prevention initiatives.

• Partner with the interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.

• Support recruitment, retention, and staff engagement efforts.

• Oversee department budgets and effective resource utilization.

• Lead survey preparation efforts and manage regulatory inspections.

• Implement initiatives that promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.

• Minimum of three years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or senior nursing leader preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to inspire teams and build a positive, resident-focused culture.

• Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional customer service.

Schedule: Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Location: In Person – Somers, NY
