Product, Fitting & Training Specialist

About the Role Callaway Golf Company is seeking a Product, Fitting, & Training Specialist to conduct club fitting appointments for both consumers and customers at the Callaway Performance Center and support outside fitting events. The role involves providing comprehensive product knowledge, training, and support to help customers understand how Callaway products can enhance their game while driving sales. Responsibilities Conduct multiple customer fittings daily in the Callaway Performance Center. Travel and train customers several weeks a year on new product attributes and performance characteristics during new product launch periods. Co‑host and deliver multiple fitting training events throughout the year to educate Callaway customers on fitting and fitting protocols. Learn about new product attributes and performance characteristics to a strong level of detail and assist with delivering product training to internal and external customers. Assist with daily operations of the Callaway Performance Center, including ordering and returning demo equipment, scheduling, club and golf ball inventories, system maintenance, and providing training on systems, product and fitting protocol. Provide Performance Center telephone support by receiving inbound calls for scheduling appointments and placing follow‑up calls to various customers. Ensure that the fitting bay presentation is show‑ready. Set up and operate launch monitors at specified fitting events. Prepare updates regarding focus areas and special projects for group meetings. Assist other sales and marketing functions. Work on other areas of individual focus. Travel internationally as requested. Technical Competencies Possess communication skills to present technical ideas and facts to a diverse audience of consumers and customers. Present information in a manner consistent with Callaway standards. Interpret ball launch data and combine it with observed golf swings to determine an optimum club specification for a consumer. Fully present the Callaway product line and have knowledge of past Callaway products. Know both Callaway and competitive golf products and how their attributes affect ball flight. Be a skilled golfer with a five handicap or less. Be highly dependable in attendance. Learn to operate launch monitor systems for measuring golf ball flight (e.g., Foresight Quad, Trackman). Have intermediate to advanced skills in Windows applications. Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail or golf operations, including customer interaction, is preferred. Public speaking experience. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Frequent travel away from the area (up to 25% of the time). Extensive use of office equipment, including computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business-related machines and software. Occasionally must lift up to fifty pounds. Requires combined standing and sitting in an open environment in view of consumers. Must work extended hours occasionally.
