Orthopedic Surgeon Richmond VA

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon with surgical privileges to join our medical practice full time or part time in Richmond, VA. The candidate should be board‑certified, trained in general orthopedics, and possess surgical privileges at local hospitals. The practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of motor‑vehicle and work‑related injuries and includes other specialties such as neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy. In‑house services cover physical therapy, chiropractic (including aquatic therapy, land‑based strengthening, work conditioning, work hardening, vestibular and cognitive therapy, and Functional Capacity Evaluations), electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management, and X‑rays. Offices are located in Richmond and Alexandria, and the physician can cover both sites if full time or select one if part time. Job Duties Provide quality patient care and management Recommend and conduct diagnostic tests to determine injury extent and appropriate treatment Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor‑vehicle injuries Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reports for high‑volume personal injury patients Perform orthopedic surgery with surgical privileges at surrounding hospitals Collaborate with colleagues and staff to deliver comprehensive patient care Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and lead in a manner aligned with company goals Requirements MD/DO from an accredited educational institution Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon) Favorable malpractice history Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification DEA license Schedule Full time Salary $450k-$520k Benefits Company‑paid malpractice insurance PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits Company‑paid life insurance and long‑term disability insurance Short‑term disability EAP 401(k) retirement plan Paid CME days Monday through Friday work schedule Please send your resume.
