Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every other weekend rotation | Some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, supporting multiple ICU populations including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery
• Care for IMC, Progressive, and General care populations as needed
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Pass a facility-required telemetry exam prior to start , meeting strict pass/fail criteria within allowable attempts

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start; passing criteria include 100% identification of lethal rhythms (ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole), no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart block questions, and an overall score of 80% or higher (adult and pediatric exams)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties (e.g., Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery)
• Familiarity with IMC, Progressive Care, and Step-Down patient populations
• Flexibility with 4x12-hour shift scheduling or blocked weekend scheduling
