The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a crucial role within a small standalone team, managing the financial transactions that keep the organization’s cash flow steady. This position focuses on handling a medium volume of daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, billing, and account follow-up. Working primarily with QuickBooks and frequently engaging with customers, the Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the financial operations without any travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and timely
- Manage customer billing and account follow-up
- Enter data and maintain accurate financial records
- Handle a medium transaction volume (50-150 daily)
- Communicate frequently with customers and external vendors
- Utilize QuickBooks accounting software effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in accounts receivable
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service experience
