Staff Accountant

Role Description

The Senior Accountant – Finance Transformation is a high-impact role responsible for leading a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency, strengthening financial controls, and driving operational transformation across the business. This role blends technical accounting, financial operations, and project leadership, with ownership of key initiatives including:

• Billing system optimization
• Lease cost rationalization
• Inventory and warehouse transformation
• Vendor cost review
• Automation of finance processes

In parallel, the role maintains hands-on accountability for in-market accounting operations across:

• Procurement
• Logistics
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Tax
• Regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA (or equivalent professional qualification) required
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations
• Strong understanding of financial close processes
• Balance sheet and P&L accounting
• Internal controls and compliance
• Project Management and project cycles

Requirements

• Experience in telecommunications or high-volume operations (preferred)
• Exposure to system implementations, process transformation, or automation initiatives (preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems and billing platforms (preferred)
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (preferred)
