Quick Facts Location: Fort Carson, Colorado, United States Start Date: 08/17/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Shift: Monday – Friday, 0730 – 1630 (flexibility for occasional nights/weekends) Hours/Week: Up to 40 hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: Active, unrestricted medical license; DEA certification preferred Experience: Minimum 24 months practicing as a Family Medicine Physician within last 36 months Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $151.00/hour Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements if applicable Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable state, federal, and local laws 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and disease management Conduct physical exams, health assessments, and preventative screenings Order and interpret diagnostic tests, coordinate referrals to specialists Educate patients on health maintenance, wellness strategies, and disease prevention Supervise and mentor healthcare staff, including conducting in-service training Ensure compliance with government standards and clinical protocols Support military personnel and their families across multiple facilities within Colorado What You Need Required: MD or DO from an accredited institution Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency Valid, unrestricted medical license in the U.S. Minimum of 24 months active practice or training in the last 36 months Fluency in English (reading, speaking, and writing) U.S. citizenship Preferred: Board certification by ABMS or AOA Previous experience in military or federal healthcare settings Proficiency with EMR systems Additional certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Fort Carson, Colorado, providing vital primary care services to military members, retirees, and their families.
