Quick Facts Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855, United States Start Date: 03/25/2026 End Date: Duration: On-going, pending credentialing Shift: Monday - Friday, 9-hour shifts (1-hour lunch, 8 hours billable), plus 15-hour overnight call; weekend call 24 hours Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (Locum Tenens) License/Certifications: MI medical license, board-certified in Gastroenterology, ERCP preferred Experience: Minimum of [X] years in gastroenterology, with proficiency in ERCP, EGD, colonoscopy, and other GI procedures Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You’ll Do Provide full coverage in the hospital’s Gastroenterology Department Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, PEG/PEJ tube placements, capsule endoscopy, and hydrogen breath testing Review pathology and communicate results with nursing staff and patients Manage all charting independently without a scribe Collaborate with the endoscopy team to maintain a high-quality, efficient service Ensure all procedures and documentation meet hospital and regulatory standards What You Need Required: MI medical license Board certification in Gastroenterology ERCP experience (preferred) Availability for FULL coverage of scheduled dates Ability to perform procedures without assistance Preferred: Experience with Olympus endoscopes, Proton pump sedation with Propofol, Cerner/eGastro/Athena systems About the Assignment This assignment takes place at a fully equipped hospital in Marquette with a dedicated, highly respected endoscopy unit. Providers will have the opportunity to perform a wide variety of GI procedures, working alongside a talented team in a community-oriented setting.
