• Shift: Mon-Fri, 9-hour days with 1-hour lunch (8 billable hours); overnight call (15 hours); Weekend call 24 hours
• Hours/Week: Full-time coverage required for entire block

• License/Certs: Michigan license required; ERCP proficiency highly preferred
• Experience: Previous Gastroenterology experience with ERCP required; additional procedures a plus

What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology services, including ERCP and other endoscopic procedures
• Perform EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement, ERCP/EUS (preferred)
• Use Olympus endoscopy equipment in a fully equipped suite with four procedure rooms/endoscopy units
• Review pathology and communicate results with nursing staff and patients
• Manage patient follow-ups and coordinate post-procedure care
• Complete all charting and work documentation independently without scribing support
• Ensure timely completion of procedures and documentation within scheduled shifts

What You Need
Required:

• Michigan medical license with current credentials
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
• ERCP proficiency (required)
• Ability to work all scheduled dates full-time and independently manage procedures and documentation

Preferred:

• Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures (EUS, capsule endoscopy)
• Familiarity with Cerner, gGastro, Athena systems
