General Definition of WorkPerforms semi-skilled work in the general maintenance of Transit buses, equipment, and facilities, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the Crew Leader - Maintainer and Lead Mechanic. This position is classified as an essential position during designated planned or unplanned events. The position also involves performance of safety-sensitive functions as defined by 49 CFR Part 655, as amended.Shift: Evening and overnight shift with scheduled days and hours to be determined; may consist of weeknights and weekend nights.The set starting range for this position is $35,278.00 to $36,703.00 annually. There is a $2 per hour shift premium for this position.
