Weekly pay: $1,445–$1,457 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days Start date: October 5, 2026 Setting: LTAC inpatient rehabilitation within a hospital framework Travel - temporary assignment with dedicated assignment support Responsibilities Deliver PTA services under direct supervision of a PT to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients in an LTAC setting Implement and progress treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional activities as prescribed; monitor patient responses Assist with gait training, transfers, ROM, strengthening, endurance programs, and activity tolerance to support functional goals Document observations, progress notes, and daily treatment summaries; communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (nursing, OT, speech therapy, case management) to coordinate care, ensure safety, and support discharge planning Maintain patient safety, infection control, equipment care, and compliance with privacy regulations and facility policies Requirements Active PTA license through the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health CPR/AED certification Minimum 1 year PTA experience Ability to work in a hospital-based LTAC inpatient rehabilitation environment Preferred: PTA outpatient hospital experience Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance Travel coordination and scheduling support 13-week travel contract with guaranteed hours
