Pharmacy Technician in Murfreesboro, TN

A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support daily operations processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day. This contract opportunity offers a 40-hour workweek with an ASAP start date in Murfreesboro, TN. Technicians will contribute in either customer service or medication dispensing roles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system, which operates without automation.


Responsibilities:

• In a customer service technician capacity:
  • Verify shipping information accurately and efficiently
  • Enter new patient data and maintain updated profiles within the pharmacy software
  • Assist with patient inquiries and coordinate information to ensure accurate prescription processing
• In a dispensing technician capacity:
  • Accurately fill and dispense renal specialty medications following standard pharmacy procedures
  • Handle medication preparation and labeling with attention to quality and compliance standards
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to maintain workflow and patient safety

Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification or relevant licensing as required
• Prior experience in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting preferred
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems; familiarity with Wellsky is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
