Senior Engineer, Manufacturing

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead advanced catheter production operations through process improvements, yield optimization, and manufacturing excellence. The role partners across functions to resolve complex challenges, support regulatory compliance, and drive continuous operational improvement in a medical device environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing improvement initiatives focused on yield, process capability, capacity, and cost reduction
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for manufacturing and quality issues
• Design, execute, and analyze engineering studies, process validations, and equipment qualifications
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify optimization opportunities and resolve operational challenges
• Mentor engineers and technicians in engineering best practices, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 4+ years experience
• Master's degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 3+ years experience (alternative)
• PhD in Engineering or Scientific field (alternative)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• FDA-regulated manufacturing environment experience, preferably medical devices
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies
