Hotel Front Desk Agent

Equinox Staffing Solutions is hiring a full-time Hotel Front Desk Agent. We are seeking a friendly, dependable professional who enjoys helping guests and is confident working with computers. Up to two openings may be available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Help guests have a smooth experience from reservation through check-out. This long-term opportunity suits someone who wants to build strong guest-service skills and take on additional responsibilities as they learn the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome guests, handle check-in and check-out, and answer questions professionally.

• Take, confirm, and update reservations by phone, email, and in person.

• Learn and accurately navigate the property management system and reservation matrix.

• Process payments and maintain accurate guest account records.

• Answer calls and emails, communicate messages, and follow up on requests.

• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room readiness and guest needs.

• Resolve concerns calmly and involve a supervisor when needed.

• Prepare daily occupancy, activity, and incident reports.

• Keep the front desk and lobby organized and guest-ready.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong written and verbal communication and professional customer service.

• Practical computer skills: locate and open files, open and switch between browser tabs, and work accurately with multiple tabs and programs open.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and learning reservation software.

• Organized, dependable, attentive to detail, and calm under pressure.

• Availability for some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous hotel, resort, or hospitality front desk experience is preferred.

• English/Spanish bilingual skills are a strong plus. The front desk work area is seated; extended standing is not required. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate basic computer navigation during the interview process.
